Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Delivery with expertise in Duck Creek Technologies to lead and oversee the successful execution of insurance technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivery leadership, strategic planning, and client management within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. This role demands hands-on experience with Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims and Insights) and a strong ability to manage complex delivery frameworks, teams and stakeholders.

 

Skills:

·        15+years of experience in IT services, with atleast 8 years in senior delivery roles.

·        Strong expertise in Duck Creek Technologies Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights).

·        Comprehensive understanding of the insurance value chain, especially P&C insurance.

·        Experience inleading cloud-based Duck Creek On-Demand implementations.

·        Proven success in leading large-scale Duck Creek projects or insurance technology transformations.

·        Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

·        Excellent team leadership and inter-personal skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

·        Ability to influence C-level executives and senior stakeholders.

·        Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership

·        Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Duck Creek implementation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

·        Develop and enforce delivery methodologies, frameworks, and standards to align with organizational goals.

·        Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring proper resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.

Client& Stakeholder Management

·        Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.

·        Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.

·        Identify opportunities for business growth and collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams to expand accounts.

Team Management & Development

·        Build, mentor and lead high-performing delivery teams, including project managers, architects and technical experts.

·        Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to motivate and guide teams toward achieving goals.

·        Drive initiatives for talent development and cross-skilling within Duck Creek technologies.

Strategic Initiatives

·        Define and execute strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and scalability for Duck Creek implementations.

·        Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with client needs and market trends.

·        Stay updated on Duck Creek product roadmaps, insurance trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Financial & Operational Management

·        Oversee project budgets, forecasting and profitability to meet financial targets.

·        Monitor delivery KPIs (e.g., quality, timeliness, client satisfaction) and ensure continuous improvement.

·        Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising quality or performance.
