Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in Duck Creek Billing.
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing efforts for enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture, especially Billing and Policy modules.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT) and test management tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data validation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Duck Creek Certification (Billing or Policy) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty (P&C).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution for Duck Creek Billing implementations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring best practices in testing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and product owners to define test scope and objectives.
  • Oversee creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Drive defect management and root cause analysis using tools like JIRA, ALM.
  • Ensure compliance with Duck Creek standards and insurance industry regulations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate UAT and production release validations.
