Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Strong experience in architecting and delivering P&C insurance solutions using Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, and other modules.
  • Deep understanding of Duck Creek Suite including Policy Admin, Billing, Claims, and Insights modules.
  • Proficiency in Duck Creek Author, Forms, Skins and Expression Builder.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based implementations and SaaS solutions (Duck Creek OnDemand preferred).
  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

 Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture and Design:

  • Design end-to-end Duck Creek solutions tailored to meet client business needs and industry best practices.
  • Define architecture strategies and roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems, third-party applications and cloud platforms.
  • Create detailed technical documentation including design specifications, data models and architecture diagrams.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide guidance to development teams on Duck Creek implementations, including configuration, integration, and customization.
  • Ensure architectural alignment across all components, such as Policy, Billing, Claims and Insights modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve architectural challenges, optimizing performance and scalability.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and infrastructure specialists, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing recommendations on Duck Creek best practices and emerging capabilities.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce development standards, security guidelines, and compliance protocols.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide input on code quality, system performance and risk mitigation.

Technology Innovation:

  • Stay up to date with Duck Creek product updates, enhancements, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks and technologies to enhance solution efficiency and maintainability.
