Qualifications:  

• Strong proficiency in Duck Creek Claims V11 and V12
• Deep expertise in:
  
  • Claims configuration & customization (Studio, Forms, Workflows, Rules, Extensions)
  • Data model, schema changes, and data migration during upgrades
  • Integration frameworks (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom)
  • Active Delivery model (OnDemand SaaS) – highly preferred
• Experience with Duck Creek upgrade tools (TAC, Upgrade Analyzer, Solution Center)
• Solid understanding of insurance claims domain (FNOL to settlement lifecycle)
• Proficiency in SQL, XML, JSON, C#, .NET (preferred), JavaScript
• Agile/Scrum experience – must have worked in sprint-based delivery
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Strong communication & stakeholder management (client-facing experience preferred)
• Ability to work independently and lead small technical teams
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-focused

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of Duck Creek Claims modules (FNOL, Loss Assignment, Reserves, Payments, Recoveries, Litigation, SIU, etc.)
• Perform detailed analysis, design, configuration, and custom development using Duck Creek Claims tools (Studio, Forms, Workflows, Manuscripts, Rating, Rules Engine, etc.)
• Handle major upgrades/migrations from V11 to V12 (and prior versions), including:
  
  • Customization remediation & re-conformance
  • TAC script execution & dry runs
  • Schema/data migration
  • Integration impact analysis
  • Regression & performance testing
• Build, extend, and optimize integrations with external systems
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes
• Mentor mid-level developers, conduct code/design reviews, and enforce best practices & coding standards
• Contribute to pre-sales (RFP responses, solution architecture, effort estimation) and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Ensure deliverables meet performance, security, compliance and quality standards
